This secluded cottage at the tip of the peninsula is one of our most popular rooms. Cross a small bridge to escape to this unique double bedroom situated on Lake Victoria itself, as a stand-alone island. With a 270 degree view of the water you will have exceptional views of sunrise/sunset, local birdlife, and passing fishing boats. Surrounded by the sound of gentle waves and the chattering of birds, you feel totally immersed in nature, and won’t fail to relax in this idyllic location. Amenities include a small kitchenette, fridge and kettle. Queen size bed with mosquito net, en suite bathroom. Desk and sofa. Previous guest’s review: a very romantic spot completely separate to the rest of the resort. An ideal private getaway for a couple or traveller wanting some peace. One word of caution: Due to the very nature immersed in the lake environment, at certain times of year this room can be prone to attract visiting lakeflies/geckos (largely harmless). This is perfect for animal lovers, but not ideal for those fearful of insects)
